Together with Swedish company ERP Monitor, Volburg has developed a concept for taking the first steps towards Industry 4.0. In beginning of 2021, it is planned to start implementing this concept in production. And the first step is to implement real-time production data collection. The production lines will be connected to the MONITOR ERP system, where it will be possible to see the real-time progress of production processes, as well as provide accurate data on line efficiency indicators. Within the framework of this concept, the company is moving closer to the paperless production process, introducing smart workplaces not only in administration, but also in production.
